Born and raised in a small town in the Pacific Northwest, Nathalie’s aesthetic is heavily influenced by Seattle’s grunge scene. She appreciates easy, wash and go styles that are cut to your natural growth and hair fall. Proficient in razor and scissor cuts, Nathalie considers herself a master in her craft. Thoroughly loving to work with any and all hair textures.

Since being in NYC Nathalie has had the pleasure of working both behind the chair as well as styling for editorial and commercial campaigns. She has been published online and in magazines such as Elle, Bustle, SugarPop, Feroce, and Raw.

Nathalie opened her own Salon Suite in 2022, and by 2024 launched Kinetic. In her off time you can find her with her nose in a book, enjoying Williamsburg with her dog Joey, or singing to her hearts content at some karaoke dive.

Jessica has been slingin’ hair since 2013 after graduating from Aveda Institute Atlanta. She specializes in fantasy colors, bleach & tones, shags, mullets, razor cuts, dry cuts and fine hair. Jess is an intuitive artist, a visual cutter & organic colorist (in the terms of color placement we wish hair color was organic!) who is excited to make your vision reality. It is important to Jessica to create a safe space for everyone involved, encouraging creative ideas to flow.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her pup Vex, adventuring in the woods, going to gigs, binging horror and sci-fi movies and yappin’ with friends!

Meet Gabby, a girl from Kentucky who always knew she would end up on a coast.

Specializing in dry haircuts, she has been taking clients in NYC since 2019. Having wavy/curly hair her entire life she is always willing to work with your natural texture to create that perfect look to fit your every day routine. Seamless grow out and longevity of the haircut is always Gabby’s main goal.

Her skills are not only limited to cutting, Gabby is also involved in editorial & commercial styling. When she is not behind the chair, she’s probably on set, on location or styling for a wedding!

When Gabby doesn’t have her hands in hair, you can find her trying new restaurants, going to the movies, checking out a concert or lounging about with her cat Loki.

Once a design student at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Jess Rizzo decided she needed to take her artistic skills to the next level. Six months into a move to Philadelphia, she decided to attend the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute to study cosmetology in 2018.

Since then, Jess has taken on the challenge of design in a three dimensional space, viewing every haircut as its own sculpture. More specifically, what Jess loves most about hair is that it is a collaboration between the stylist and the client. She does what she can to address each client’s specific needs. Her specialty includes razor cut shags, precision cuts and curly haircutting. She will stop at nothing to perfect her craft.

In her free time she enjoys thrifting and spending time with her cat Marni.

Jeanny is a born-and-bred New Yorker and a multidisciplinary artist, who entered the hair game during the pandemic in 2020 when they completed the cosmetology certification program through Arrojo Academy. Jeanny specializes in dry haircutting with the shear and razor, blending formal techniques and sculptural design to craft both classic and creative styles. They focus on enhancing the client’s natural texture, and accommodating maintenance needs, ensuring each cut offers shape, balance, and movement for extended longevity—ideal for those who prefer a wash-and- wear, air-dried look. Jeanny prioritizes a safe, respectful space and experience with care and detail, believing hair to be a medium for one’s self expression, preservation, and affirmation.

Outside of work, Jeanny enjoys hanging out in nature, often with an iced oat chai in hand, going to shows, going to estate sales and collecting vintage, binging on bravo reality shows, making and listening to music, being a lefty in hands and in politics, going down rabbit holes, and leaning into spirituality.

Elias Lin has been doing hair passionately since he was 6, giving Barbies mullets before they were cool. Professionally, he’s been cutting hair since 2021 after moving here to Brooklyn and deciding to combine that passion with professional training from Empire Beauty School. 

Elias’s cutting style is very intuitive, working with your favorite facial features and uniqueness over trends or what tradition says is “right” for you. Feeling like an outsider in typical salon spaces is something Elias is familiar with as a trans person, and has led him to operating in small spaces that allow his relationships with his clients to grow and his community to feel seen. 

When not behind the chair he spends time with his cat, French Press, and gives back to the community through pro-bono haircut events.

Meet Ally, a Southern sweetheart from Louisiana. As a recent Arrojo Academy graduate, she loves razor cutting and has a passion for creating looks that bring out your natural texture and lifestyle, making you feel like the best version of yourself.

Ally's all about those big hair transformations that leave you feeling brand new. So, whether you're up for a bold change or dreaming of long, flowy layers and a bouncy blowout, she’d love to see you!

But it's not just about the hair – it's about the experience. Ally prioritizes a safe, inclusive space where everyone's voice is heard and you leave with everything you wanted from your cut or color experience.

SALON MANAGER, Good Girl/Mamas.

Joey is a 6 year old bundle of absolute joy. She has been joining her mom Nathalie at the salon since she was a pup!

Mostly she loves to curl up in her chair, take lots of naps & occasionally get up for a water break.

If it’s chilly in the salon, or you seem to be having a bad day, she may try to squeeze into your lap for a pet and a snuggle.

When she’s not in salon she enjoys making sure her mom slows down and smells the smells with her on long walks. She also loves the dog park, cheese balls from The Levee and taking up the whole bed.
